Herrin Counseling is run by Zach Herrin and is located in Tyler, Texas. Zach is a graduate of Texas A&M and has his M.A. in Counseling from Denver Seminary. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor and has been in many counseling roles in various capacities since 2004. Zach attended A&M from 2000 to 2004 and graduated with a communications degree. After graduation he worked as a counselor/communications director with INYOU ministries from 2004-2005. He was a Youth Pastor in Boerne, Texas from 2006 to 2008 where he worked with the teens and families at Faith Bible Church. He married his beautiful wife Amber, in September of 2008 and began his Masters Degree in Denver Colorado in 2009. He and his wife were blessed with their first child Ella while in Colorado (Colorado souvenir!) and moved back to Texas upon completion of his degree. His second child Kate was born in February 2013 and his third, Noah was born in July 2014. He started working with Chris Legg counseling in 2011 and was at Alethia Counseling Center in Tyler, Texas for 9 years. Zach is now a co-owner of Solace Counseling and Anxiety Center located at Asher Park in Tyler, Texas. Zach has worked with families, addicts, teens, premarital/married couples, individuals and children; all having a wide variety of issues and disorders. Zach believes in the power of change and has seen God bring about great change in his own life and the lives of those he's influenced. He believes therapy and the counseling relationship is one of the most powerful methods for change and has seen it work in numerous people's lives. Zach is an LPC, is NBCC certified, Prepare/Enrich Certified, EMDR Trained, a member of the Texas VOW and Twogether program.
